I-85 SSI CP2 Moves Forward: Park Construction Authorized to Proceed

Adjusted Business Hours
The South Granville Water and Sewer Authority will operate on a delayed schedule due to forecasted winter weather conditions. On Tuesday, December 11th, the Welcome Center will open at 11:30 am. This adjustment is being made out of an abundance of caution for both customers and staff as snow and potentially hazardous travel conditions are expected in the area.

November 2025 Board Meeting

Hydrant Damage and Temporary Repair
Late last evening, a vehicle struck a fire hydrant, causing damage to the connected water line leading back to the main on East E Street in Butner, NC. SGWASA crews promptly responded and completed an emergency repair by installing a straight pipe to maintain system integrity.

Service Interruption - Creedmoor, NC
Utility crews are responding to a water main leak reported within the Granville Estates Subdivision of Creedmoor, NC. A temporary service interruption is necessary.
The work requires cutting into the roadway to install a new tap connection.

Please be advised that SGWASA’s online customer payment portal and automated phone payment system (IVR) are currently unavailable due to a widespread Amazon Web Services (AWS) outage impacting Tyler Technologies, the authority's billing platform provider. Tyler’s technical team is actively working to restore service as quickly as possible.

Water Main Leak - East F Street
Utility crews are on site responding to a water main leak on East F Street in Butner, NC. To complete necessary repairs, water service has been temporarily disconnected. This interruption will affect customers located within the Edgewood Building at Murdoch Developmental Center, a state-operated healthcare facility.
