As part of SGWASA’s standard public governance and financial oversight process, the SGWASA Finance Committee will convene for upcoming public meetings to review project funding strategies and capital planning priorities.

The recent SGWASA Board meeting opened with the administration of the Oath of Office for the Town of Butner Councilperson Tom Lane. The Board welcomed Councilperson Lane back as a returning member of the SGWASA Board, following years of service.

SGWASA has successfully secured $41 million in grant funding, with an additional $83.5 million in applications under review for current projects. The Authority is taking a proactive approach in pursuing external funding to reduce ratepayer impact and advance system improvements.

The meeting will be held in the Town of Butner Council Room, located at 415 Central Avenue, Butner, North Carolina. The public is invited to attend the meeting in person. For those unable to attend, the agenda is available for viewing online by clicking here.
