Butner, NC. February 11, 2026 - The South Granville Water & Sewer Authority made organizational changes during the February 2026 Board of Directors meeting through the annual Election of SGWASA officers.

At the January 2026 Board meeting, Commissioner Jimmy Gooch formally notified the Board of his intent to conclude his service as Board Chair. By unanimous vote, the Board seated Commissioner Kenneth McLamb as Chair, with Commissioner Georgana Kicinksi continuing as Vice Chair.

With recognition for consistent financial reporting and strong data control, Finance Director Richard Balmer remains Treasurer, and with appreciation for information channel expansion and administrative ingenuity, the Board Secretary remains SGWASA’s Public Information Officer Krystle Lee.

Beyond officer elections, the Board addressed several agenda items tied to continued system strengthening and growth management. The FY25–26 second-quarter financial review was presented as part of SGWASA’s effort to maintain organization-wide financial awareness, and discussed public water and sewer extensions to serve Falls Lake Industrial Park.

SGWASA continues to make strides to improve water quality, organizational efficiency, and internal processes through disciplined planning and coordinated execution with contractors and project partners.
