Update 1:45 PM: Crews have completed repairs for the reported water main emergency on West C Street in Butner, North Carolina. Water service has been fully restored to all affected customers.

November 4, 2025. Butner, NC - Utility crews have been notified of an emergency repair required at the 503 Apartments on West C Street in Butner, North Carolina. To safely accommodate this repair, water service must be temporarily shut off along the entire length of West C Street.
This interruption was not scheduled in advance, and crews are working to complete repairs and restore service as quickly and safely as possible.
SGWASA appreciates the patience and understanding of affected customers during this emergency work. Updates will be provided as additional information becomes available.
