- C Street between 5th & 9th Streets

- Ten Pines Apartments

Service is anticipated to be restored by noon today, August 21, 2025.

Butner, NC. August 20, 2025 - Water service will be temporarily interrupted on Thursday, August 21, 2025, in the West C Street and 8th Street area of Butner, NC. This interruption is necessary to repair leaks that have developed on two valves in the system.

The minor leaks discovered during a previous repair worsened and require immediate attention to prevent further concerns. SGWASA appreciates your understanding and cooperation as our crews work diligently to complete repairs and restore service as quickly as possible. 

Teams anticipate project completion by noon on August 21, 2025. Updates will be provided as they are made available by utility teams.
