Crews continue repair measures on a broken valve reported within the 22nd Street vicinity of Butner, NC. The responding teams are working to minimize service disruption, but customers within the repair zone may experience periods of low to no water pressure.
Butner, NC. September 16, 2025 - SGWASA utility crews have scheduled repair work for Friday, September 19, 2025 to address a broken valve that requires immediate attention. The planned maintenance will take place within the 300 Block of 22nd Street, but will also impact customers along East D Street, impacting water service for customers from 18th Street to 24th Street.
Crews plan to begin repairs at 9:00 am and anticipate restoration of services by 11:00 am, conditions considering.

Crews will be working carefully to minimize service disruptions while addressing the necessary infrastructure needs.
