Update: Repairs have been successfully completed on the broken valve impacting customers within the Wynngate and Massimo housing developments in Creedmoor, North Carolina.
Crews restored full water service in the affected area. Pavement restoration has been completed, and surface curing is expected to finish by morning, use caution when traveling through repair zones.

Butner, NC. October 15, 2025 - Utility crews will conduct a valve installation project on East Lyon Station Road near the Green Road intersection beginning at 8:00 am. During this process, water service will be temporarily interrupted for the following areas:
Wynngate and Massimo housing developments
East Lyon Station Road from Gate 2 Road to just before East Middleton Drive
Crews will prioritize excavation of the water line before installation can begin. Water is expected to be disconnected between 10:00 am and 11:00 am, with service anticipated to be restored by approximately 5:00 pm. However, the exact restoration time may vary depending on site conditions and any unforeseen complications encountered during excavation and valve installation.
SGWASA crews will work diligently to complete the project as efficiently and safely as possible. We appreciate residents’ patience and understanding as we continue to make important infrastructure improvements to maintain system reliability and service quality.
Residents within the area highlighted in black are expected to experience service interruptions during repair.
