Fiscal Year 2026–2027 is now in effect for the South Granville Water & Sewer Authority. The Board of Directors adopted the FY 26/27 Budget at the May 2026 Board of Directors meeting, establishing the Authority’s operating framework for July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.

The adopted budget maintains current water and sewer rates for customers while positioning SGWASA to continue supporting the Granville County communities through responsible planning, daily system operations, regulatory readiness, and long-term infrastructure investment.

As the new fiscal year begins, SGWASA remains focused on the work required to protect system reliability and prepare for future service demands. Several major projects and programs remain active or are advancing toward upcoming milestones, including PFAS mitigation, the I-85 Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project, water meter replacement, water quality improvements, system flushing planning, and long-term water treatment infrastructure planning.

Additional system work continues through the Creedmoor water meter replacement program, water quality improvement planning, infrastructure assessments, and master planning efforts tied to the Water Treatment Plant.

As FY 2026–2027 begins, SGWASA is prepared to continue supporting the Granville County community through reliable service, practical financial planning, and continued attention to the infrastructure needs shaping the Authority’s next phase of work.
