FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The following is offered to SGWASA customers as information only. There are no confirmed problems with the drinking water quality in this subject area.


Butner, NC. May 7, 2025 — Due to emergency water main repair work performed by SWASA utility crews on 5/6/25 at 2029 East Lyons Station Rd, SGWASA water customers that experienced a period of no pressure in the water distribution system from the repair, SGWASA water customers experienced a period of no pressure in the water distribution system from the repair. 

 

Based on the laboratory analysis of the water samples collected by SGWASA following the water main break repairs, customers are hereby notified that the System Pressure Advisory is no longer in effect.


The System Pressure Advisory was issued as a precautionary measure only. We appreciate your cooperation during this period.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
