Hydrant Installed - Water Service Restored

Crews completed the installation of the hydrant and service has been restored for impacted customers.

Butner, NC - SGWASA utility crews are scheduled to replace a fire hydrant on 7th Street, near West C Street and 5th Street on Thursday, May 14, 2026. Crews will begin preparing the work area in advance of the work. The temporary water service interruption begins at approximately 10:00 AM.
Water service is expected to be temporarily unavailable from approximately 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM for customers on West C Street between 5th Street and 8th Street, as well as customers at Ten Pines Apartments.
SGWASA appreciates the community’s patience and cooperation while this planned work is completed.
