The South Granville Water and Sewer Authority (SGWASA) announces a Pre-Bid Construction Conference for the WTP Filter Media Replacement Project, scheduled to enter construction in Fall 2025. This vital infrastructure improvement is part of SGWASA’s strategic initiatives to support the southern Granville County community with a reliable and sustainable water treatment system.
About the Project:
Filter media replacement is essential for maintaining optimal water quality standards, ensuring effective filtration, and extending the life of water treatment systems. As part of SGWASA’s continued commitment to environmental stewardship and operational excellence, this project will be led by Hazen and Sawyer, a nationally recognized environmental engineering firm with extensive experience in water and wastewater treatment technologies.
While attendance is not mandatory, all prospective bidders are strongly encouraged to participate in this conference to gain a thorough understanding of the project scope and site conditions.

Licensing Requirements: All Bidders must be appropriately licensed under Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes at the time of bid submission.
SGWASA reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities, and award the contract in the best interest of the Authority.
