11th Street Closure Begins August 31st

Butner, NC - Pipeline construction associated with the I-85 Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project is scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, August 31, 2026, along 11th Street between West B Street and West C Street.
The work will require 11th Street to be closed intermittently to through traffic for approximately four to six weeks. During active closure periods, the construction area will be limited to local traffic only. Detour signs are posted throughout the area to guide motorists.
Crews will work to complete the pipeline construction and restore normal traffic flow as quickly as possible. SGWASA appreciates the community’s patience while this important infrastructure work is underway.
