On February 25, 2026, the South Granville Water & Sewer Authority celebrated Wastewater Professionals Appreciation Day, honoring the wastewater professionals whose daily work safeguards public health, protects local waterways, and keeps essential infrastructure operating reliably across our service area.

The recent SGWASA Board meeting opened with the administration of the Oath of Office for Granville County Commissioner Russ May, who was appointed to fill the unexpired term of Commissioner Tim Karan. The Board welcomed Commissioner May as he steps into this role, bringing a wealth of knowledge, experience, and a distinguished record of service to both his country and community.
