Service Interruption - Creedmoor, NC

Update 4:08 pm: The service line tap installation in the 800 block of North Main Street, Creedmoor, has been successfully completed. Water service has been fully restored, and the affected customer is now experiencing normal volume and pressure.
Due to unforeseen excavation challenges, including sandstone conditions at a depth of approximately seven feet, final pavement restoration will be completed between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. tomorrow. SGWASA crews will be on site to manage traffic and assist the paving contractor during this time.
We appreciate the patience and understanding of nearby residents as this essential repair work concludes.
October 21, 2025. Butner, NC - Utility crews are performing a service line replacement at the 800 block of North Main Street in Creedmoor, NC to resolve a low-pressure issue caused by a galvanized line.
The work requires cutting into the roadway to install a new tap connection.
Two properties located in the repair vicinity may experience a brief interruption in water service while repairs are underway. SGWASA appreciates the patience and understanding of affected residents as we complete this improvement.
