100 Block of Cozart Street - Leak Assessment Underway

January 10, 2025. Butner, NC - SGWASA has received a report of a leak near the 100 block of Cozart Street in Creedmoor, NC. Utility teams are currently assessing site conditions to better understand the leak parameters, identify the likely point of origination, and evaluate the overall condition of the line and surrounding area.

At this time, preliminary observations suggest the issue may involve a private service line; however, SGWASA crews are continuing verification to determine whether the source is located on the public main or on the private side of the service connection.

SGWASA will provide additional details as they become available from utility teams.
