The South Granville Water and Sewer Authority has released the May 2026 Virtual Town Hall update to provide customers and community members with a clear overview of several major projects in motion and organizational updates.
The video provides information on the recent adoption of the Fiscal Year 2026/2027 Budget, which includes no increase to current customer water or sewer rates and only minimal adjustments to fees associated with delinquent accounts.
The session provides details on PFAS mitigation planning and funding progress, ongoing work with CDM Smith, pilot testing, treatment evaluation, and SGWASA’s continued preparation for future federal compliance requirements.
Additional topics include the I-85 Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project, controlled blasting coordination, Golden Pond valve exercising in the City of Creedmoor, preparation for future unidirectional flushing, eBilling and online payment options, customer service resources, and ways the public can remain engaged through project pages, Board meetings, and information sessions.
Customers are encouraged to view the video and visit sgwasa.org for project updates, public notices, and customer resources.
