Update 8:32 AM - Water service has been restored for customers within the highlighted area. Repairs have been completed. ____________ Butner, NC. April 29, 2025 - As part of an NCDOT project on Highway 56, a contractor will be performing a water main relocation in two locations along West Lyon Station Road. This work is scheduled to begin at 10:30 PM on Thursday, May 1, 2025, and is expected to take approximately 4 to 6 hours to complete.
The relocation will impact water service for customers on West Lyon Station Road, north of Highway 56 during this time. Thank you for your understanding as work is conducted to support essential infrastructure maintenance.
