Cutting Communication Barriers

At the South Granville Water & Sewer Authority (SGWASA), we understand the importance of clear and consistent communication. We are committed to providing reliable water and sewer services, keeping the public informed is a key part of that promise.

As a public resource, SGWASA prioritizes responsible fiscal practices. This means being mindful of Budget amendments related to Communications, while still ensuring access to vital information and resources via the newly developed website, leveraging effective social media channels, news outlets, and other established communication forms.

Multiple Ways to Remain Connected:

  • Welcome Center:  SGWASA's welcome center is designed with customer convenience in mind. We are open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 4 PM to assist you with your water and sewer needs. Whether you prefer in-person interaction, have questions, need information, or want to schedule a tour, start or stop service, our friendly staff is here to help.

  • Official Website: sgwasa.org serves as the central hub for all official information. This includes service alerts, construction updates, Board meeting minutes, and general information about our services.

  • Social Media: Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, or X formally known as Twitter for timely updates, announcements, and reminders. We share important news, service information, and even host Q&A sessions on these platforms.

  • Email and Phone:  Do not hesitate to reach out to our dedicated customer service team via email (customerservice@sgwasa.org) or phone at (919) 575-3367 with any questions or concerns.

  • Project Partners: Follow our project partners on their social media and official websites. Many of our major projects involve significant communication allotments, allowing environmental and engineering firm partners to share project updates directly with the public. SGWASA will always share project updates as they are made available.

  • Newspaper:  Residents can rely on updates in print to receive information on official notices, meeting dates, key project announcements.

  • Board Meeting Attendance:  The public is invited to attend SGWASA's monthly Board meetings held on the second Tuesday of each month at 6:00 PM, unless otherwise notated. Visit sgwasa.org to view the event calendar.

Did you know you can receive instant updates directly to your inbox or phone? Sign up for our email and text message alerts at sgwasa.org/alerts. This is the most efficient way to stay informed about all things SGWASA, including:

  • Service interruptions and boil water notices

  • Construction updates and planned outages

  • Board meeting agendas and public comment opportunities

  • Important reminders and announcements

Let's Work Together
