Update 12:48 PM: Crews completed repairs without service disconnection.
Butner, NC - Crews from the water authority are on site repairing a water main break near the 300 block of 15th Street in Butner.
To complete the necessary work safely and efficiently, water service in the immediate area will be temporarily interrupted. The interruption is expected to be brief.
Customers in the affected area are advised that service will be restored as quickly as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience and thank the community for its understanding. Further updates will be posted as the repair progresses.
