The South Granville Water & Sewer Authority (SGWASA) is currently expanding its team in search of dedicated team members to contribute their expertise towards delivering exceptional water and sewer services to the Southern Granville County community.


SGWASA ensures the highest standards of service provision, maintaining the infrastructure necessary to support the well-being and growth of southern Granville County, NC. In the pursuit to strengthen its operations and enhance service delivery, SGWASA invites interested individuals to apply for three pivotal roles within the organization.





OPEN ROLES:

  • The role of Pump Station Maintenance Mechanic is open to individuals with a background in mechanical maintenance and repair. This position is critical for ensuring that all pump stations operate efficiently and reliably, thus guaranteeing continuous and uninterrupted water and sewer services to the community.


The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in pump maintenance, alongside a profound understanding of the mechanical systems that underpin the smooth operation of water and sewer infrastructure.


  • SGWASA is seeking a Utility Maintenance Mechanic who excels in the maintenance and repair of utility systems. This role is essential for the upkeep of SGWASA’s extensive network of water and sewer lines, ensuring they remain operational and meet the necessary regulatory standards.


Applicants should possess a strong foundation in utility service maintenance, coupled with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to preventive maintenance practices.


  • The role of Utility Engineer is designed for an individual with a deep technical understanding of water and sewer systems engineering. This position involves the planning, design, and oversight of projects that enhance and expand the utility's infrastructure.


The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring that SGWASA’s engineering projects are executed efficiently, cost-effectively, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
