Railroad Avenue Pipe Work Resumes as C Street Activities Shift

CP-1 Updates
Haren remains active at the Joe Peed lift station. Along Joe Peed Road, JF Wilkerson is progressing sewer line installation while Autry advances sewer force main construction.
CP-2 Updates
Park Construction will resume pipe installation on Railroad Avenue toward the Norfolk Southern Railroad receiving pit.
Crews will excavate air gaps around the gas and water lines and connect three services on C Street to the 2-inch main.
The blasting schedule has changed. One controlled blast is scheduled for today at 1:00 PM.
Carolina Drilling will also drill the next 40 feet of the blast grid in preparation for additional blasting Monday, when Enbridge personnel are expected to be available to replace the section of main crossing the blast grid.
Young Construction will prepare personnel and equipment for pushing pipe through the Norfolk Southern Railroad bore casing.
