Please be advised that blasting and construction activities may cause noise near the project area. Other work may begin as early as 7:00 AM and end at 10:00 PM, while jack-and-bore tunneling near the Norfolk Southern railroad crossing will continue 24 hours a day until complete. Nearby customers may hear tunneling noise overnight. Deliveries, blasting and excavation may also affect traffic on multiple streets within the construction area.

WB Clark Road Update: JF Wilkerson has begun the delayed force-main road crossing. The work is being managed with a single-lane closure rather than a full road closure, and completion is anticipated by the end of this week. Traffic flagging and lane closures will also continue along Joe Peed Road as necessary.

Additional work includes continued installation toward 8th Street, the railroad tie-in, C Street excavation and blasting, microtunnel work at the Norfolk Southern Railroad crossing, and final paving on Laundry Avenue and Railroad Avenue.

Next week, 20-inch force-main work is planned near E. Lyon Station and East Middleton, with installation also continuing between WB Clark Road and E. Lyon Station.
