Please be advised that blasting and construction activities may cause noise near the project area. Other work may begin as early as 7:00 AM and end at 10:00 PM, while jack-and-bore tunneling near the Norfolk Southern railroad crossing will continue 24 hours a day until complete. Nearby customers may hear tunneling noise overnight. Deliveries, blasting and excavation may also affect traffic on multiple streets within the construction area.

During the week of OCT 12, 2026, crews will continue the 20-inch force main from Joe Peed, complete the WB Clark Road crossing, begin pipe installation on 8th Street, continue blasting along C Street, and complete final paving on Laundry Avenue and Railroad Avenue. Pipe installation on A Street has been completed, with paving preparation underway.

During the week of OCT 19, force-main installation is planned to continue between WB Clark Road and E. Lyon Station, while work near E. Lyon Station and East Middleton Drive begins.

At the Norfolk Southern Railroad crossing, pipe supports, carrier pipe, and bulkheads are scheduled for installation OCT 19–20, followed by receiving-pit backfill OCT 21–23. Young will also obtain casing spacers and thread the pipe through the completed microtunnel casing.

Closures:
- WB Clark Road: Closed to through traffic OCT 14–16 for the force-main crossing
- C Street: Full closure anticipated as blasting continues
- A Street: Full closure anticipated as applicable to active construction

Some service impacts are anticipated on 8th Street, with possible intermittent water and/or gas impacts along C Street as blasting continues.
