Please be advised that blasting and construction activities may cause noise near the project area. Other work may begin as early as 7:00 AM and end at 10:00 PM, while jack-and-bore tunneling near the Norfolk Southern railroad crossing will continue 24 hours a day until complete. Nearby customers may hear tunneling noise overnight. Deliveries, blasting and excavation may also affect traffic on multiple streets within the construction area.

Construction continues across several I-85 SSI Project work areas. Park Construction plans to complete the railroad and microtunnel tie-ins before returning to 8th Street at C Street to finish remaining sewer installation. Work on 8th Street is nearing completion, with final paving tentatively planned before Thanksgiving.

Blasting continues along C Street, where intermittent gas service impacts remain possible. Final paving is also planned for 8th Street and Railroad Avenue.

Along Joe Peed Road, crews will continue 20-inch force-main installation, with traffic flagging and periodic lane closures used as necessary. Next week, installation is planned to continue between WB Clark Road and East Lyon Station.
