Over the next two weeks, I-85 SSI Project crews will continue active sewer infrastructure work across Joe Peed Road, West Middleton Drive, East Lyon Station Road, A Street, and 8th Street. Construction Package 1 crews will continue 24-inch gravity sewer work near Joe Peed Road and 24-inch combined force main installation along West Middleton Drive toward East Lyon Station Road.

Construction Package 2 crews will continue installation from the microtunnel launching pit toward the railroad, and Carolina Drilling will continue blasting activities on A Street. Traffic impacts are anticipated, including a partial closure on 8th Street and a full closure on A Street, with Park coordinating with Hanes Geo.

No planned service impacts are anticipated at this time.
