Please be advised that noise disruptions may occur during the blasting and construction activities. Work may begin as early as 7:00 AM. Traffic impacts should be expected on multiple streets within the construction area, primarily associated with deliveries, blasting activity, and excavation operations.

Crews will continue laying pipe from the launch pit toward Will Suitt Road. Blasting operations are planned between I-85 and the gas line crossing west of I-85. Final stabilization work, including seed and straw, is scheduled at 8th Street.

Blasting is anticipated once per day west of I-85.

The following traffic impacts are anticipated during this period:

Partial Closures
Will Suitt Road may experience partial closures as heavy equipment is moved through the area. A planned shutdown of Will Suitt Road at Longwood is scheduled for April 27 through May 1.

Open to All Traffic
8th Street and West D Street will remain open to all traffic.
