Grant accepted and task order approved; project commenced December 2025 and is scheduled for completion by January 2027.

McGill Associates
SGWASA applied for and received a $150K grant from the NCDEQ for this project. SGWASA is working with McGill Associates on this project. This project is just in its initial stages of working through all the required grant paperwork submittals and authorization. SGWASA will add the required 20% funding match of $30K for this project.
In summary, the South Granville Water and Sewer Authority (SGWASA) intends to conduct an Asset Inventory and Assessment study of the Authority’s water treatment plant in a project described as the Water Plant Master Plan. This project will build upon previous water system AIA work and will include tasks such as an update of asset inventories, condition assessment of critical assets, and other components of an asset management plan.
