Will Suitt Road Installation and Joe Peed Site Support Work Continue

CP1 Updates
Haren Construction crews will continue pipe installation at the Joe Peed site. JFW crews will haul clean spoil material to the Joe Peed site and continue cleanup and landscape restoration activities along East Middleton Drive. Autry crews are not scheduled to be onsite today.

CP2 Updates
Park Construction crews will continue laying 36-inch fiberglass reinforced polymer pipe from the receiving pit across Will Suitt Road. Carolina Drilling crews are scheduled to conduct one controlled blast today at the Interstate 85 bore pit at 2:00 pm.

Traffic Impacts
The closure of Will Suitt Road will remain in effect through Friday.

11:04 AM Update:
Construction crews are progressing ahead of schedule with the road crossing at Will Suitt Road. The paving contractor is now expected to be onsite by mid-morning tomorrow to complete the asphalt patch.

The current road closure will remain in place through Friday, as crews continue laying pipe along the shoulder of the roadway up to Sanitary Manhole 3058. However, based on current progress, an additional closure next week is no longer anticipated.
