Joe Peed Road Sewer Installation and CP-2 Blasting Activity

CP-1 Updates
Haren crews are continuing pipe installation at the Joe Peed site. JFW crews continue laying gravity sewer main along Joe Peed Road as part of ongoing sewer infrastructure improvements. Autry crews are continuing force main work along West Middleton Drive.

CP-2 Updates
Park Construction crews will continue installing the 36-inch fiberglass reinforced pipe at the launch pit. Carolina Drilling is scheduled to conduct controlled blasting activities today at approximately 11:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Nearby residents, motorists, and property owners may notice temporary noise or vibration associated with this planned construction activity.

Update 8:45 AM: The 11:00 AM controlled blast has been postponed while Park Construction works to locate an abandoned valve that SGWASA identified within the blast area. This additional verification step is being completed before work proceeds in that location.

Update 10:27 AM: The 2:00 PM blasting session has been cancelled.
