Joe Peed Site Preparation, West Middleton Force Main Work, and West A Street Blasting Activity

Construction Package 1 crews will continue work in the Joe Peed and West Middleton project areas. Haren Construction crews will continue pipe installation at the Joe Peed site. JF Wilkerson crews will lay out construction mats at the Joe Peed site as they prepare to begin work in that area. Autry crews will continue force main installation along West Middleton Drive.

Construction Package 2 crews will continue moving equipment and materials to the launch pit access road. Park Construction crews are scheduled to begin installing the 36-inch fiberglass reinforced polymer pipe today and will also continue loading out soil from the Will Suitt Road pipe installation area.

Carolina Drilling is scheduled to conduct one controlled blast today at 2:00 p.m. on West A Street near Hanes Geo. SGWASA encourages motorists and nearby residents to remain alert in the area and follow all posted signs, flaggers, and crew direction.
