Billing Customer Service Supervisor
Leads day-to-day customer service and billing operations for the Authority, ensuring accurate utility billing, timely collections, and a positive customer experience. This role supervises front-line staff, resolves complex account issues, strengthens processes and controls, and uses data and technology to improve service quality and operational efficiency.

Salary Range:
$57,517 - $85,125
An employee in this class is responsible for supervising the activities which involve the utility billing and collections, customer accounts maintenance, handling customer inquiries relating to utility and general Authority services. Work includes supervising and participating as needed in setting up new customer accounts and closing out customer accounts; trouble-shooting billing problems; balancing daily collections and on-line payments, etc. Work also includes handling difficult customer issues, modernizing processes, and training and providing performance development and review for assigned staff. Work involves heavy public contact functions and coordination with other functions within the Authority organizational structure. Work requires supervisory skills and considerable tact and courtesy in the public contact functions.
