Construction activity remains active in both phases of the I-85 Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project, with continued pipe installation in Construction Package 1 and ongoing pipe installation and scheduled blasting at the microtunnel site in Construction Package 2.

Pipe installation and force main work remain active in CP-1, while CP-2 crews continue FRP installation and scheduled blasting at the microtunnel site and West D Street.

CP-1 pipe and force main installation activities remain underway, while CP-2 work continues with FRP installation and a revised blasting schedule that now includes one 12:00 pm microtunnel pit blast and one 11:00 am D Street hand shot.

CP-1 crews are securing materials and preparing for weather conditions ahead of upcoming installation work, while no CP-2 contractor activity is scheduled for today.

CP-1 crews are advancing valve vault preparation and force main installation along East Middleton Drive and West Middleton Drive, while CP-2 crews continue FRP sewer main installation, backfilling, and manhole invert grouting with no blasting scheduled today.

CP-1 crews are preparing for rain while force main installation continues along East Middleton Drive, and CP-2 crews will continue FRP sewer main installation, structure grouting, manhole vacuum testing, and scheduled outfall blasting at 10:00 am.

CP-1 crews continue backfill, cleanup, conduit installation, and force main work along East Middleton Drive, while CP-2 crews advance FRP sewer main installation and backfilling as scheduled, with Carolina Drilling set to blast rock in the outfall at 10:00 am and 1:00 pm outside the roadway work restriction area.

CP-1 crews are advancing lift station piping and force main installation and testing, while CP-2 crews continue FRP sewer main work, site restoration, ground-speed testing, and scheduled outfall rock blasting outside the Enbridge stop-work area.

Crews will continue force main installation in the East Middleton area, along with ongoing pump station work, conduit installation, erosion control maintenance, sewer main installation, and site restoration in CP-2.

Controlled blasting in CP-2 is scheduled for 11:00 am. and 3:00 pm.

Crews are advancing lift station construction with through-slab process piping and continuing force main installation along the East Middleton corridor. CP-2 teams are installing FRP sewer mains and restoring disturbed areas, while Carolina Drilling remains on standby pending resolution of Enbridge Gas coordination items.

CP-1 crews are continuing pump station backfilling and force main installation along East Middleton Drive, including work near the Middleton Lift Station driveway and between Stardust Lane and West Middleton Drive. CP-2 crews are continuing FRP sewer main installation, while Carolina Drilling is temporarily paused pending resolution of an Enbridge Gas coordination issue.

CP#1 crews will continue pump station backfilling, hauling fill to support East Middleton work, and advancing roofing and force main installation near the East Middleton Lift Station and Stardust Lane. CP#2 crews will continue installing FRP sewer main segments, while drilling remains paused pending resolution of an Enbridge Gas coordination issue.
