A Street Moves Toward Restoration as Field Work Shifts Across CP-2

Haren remains active at the Joe Peed lift station, carrying site work forward.

Along Joe Peed Road, JF Wilkerson is progressing sewer line installation, while Autry continues force main construction within the same corridor.

CP-2 Updates
Park is focusing on cleanup along A Street and beginning preparations for the roadway’s base coat asphalt. Crews are also moving excavation equipment to 8th Street and resuming vacuum testing on recently installed manholes.

Young Construction continues breaking down the tunnel boring machine (TBM) as this stage of the tunneling operation winds down.

A second Young Construction crew remains active on Norfolk Southern Railroad bore work.

Carolina Drilling is scheduled to conduct one controlled blast today at 2:00 PM.
