Force Main and FRP Installation Continue as Blasting Operations Advance CP-2 Work

CP-1 Updates
Haren crews are continuing pipe installation activities at the Joe Peed site. JFW crews are continuing 16-inch force main installation along East Middleton Drive, while Autry crews are continuing 24-inch force main installation along West Middleton Drive.

CP-2 Updates
Park crews are continuing 36-inch FRP pipe installation across D Street. Carolina Drilling crews are scheduled to conduct blasting operations at 11:00 am and 3:00 pm.

Blasting continues on Thursday, March 19th, 2026.

Park Construction has received approval to proceed with the hand shots tomorrow on D Street to collect benchmark data. Work is scheduled to begin at 9:00 am.

A total of three shots are planned, including one at the D Street crossing and two at the microtunnel receiving pit.
