TBM Retrieval Preparations Advance as Two Controlled Blasts Are Scheduled

CP-1 Updates
Haren Construction is progressing work at the Joe Peed lift station. Along Joe Peed Road, JF Wilkerson crews are continuing sewer line installation while Autry advances sewer force main construction.

CP-2 Updates
Park Construction is continuing pipe installation on A Street.

Young Construction is continuing to dismantle the tunnel boring machine (TBM) as crews prepare to retrieve the head unit from the reception shaft, and will proceed with Norfolk Southern Railroad bore activities.

Carolina Drilling is scheduled to conduct two controlled blasts today at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
