Filtration Media

Filtration media is any material used in a filter to separate solids from a fluid (liquid or gas) by passing the fluid through the material. In the context of water treatment, this can include materials like sand, gravel, granular activated carbon (GAC), or ion exchange resins. These media trap contaminants as the water flows through, purifying it.
