Proyecto SSI I-85
La Autoridad de Agua y Alcantarillado de South Granville se asoció con los expertos en ingeniería CDM Smith para llevar a cabo el Proyecto de Mejora del Alcantarillado Sanitario I-85.
Este proyecto reemplazará materiales obsoletos para mantener una infraestructura que satisfaga las demandas de capacidad presentes y futuras del condado de Granville.

Launch Pit Work Continues off Will Suitt Road
CP-1 Updates
Haren continues pipe installation at the Joe Peed site. JF Wilkerson continues sewer line installation along Joe Peed Road. Autry continues force main work near East Lyon Station Road.
CP-2 Updates
Park crews continue installation of the 36-inch fiberglass-reinforced pipe (FRP) on Laundry Avenue. Young Construction continues launch pit work off Will Suitt Road.
Construction activity continues today across several I-85 SSI work areas.
Customers near Joe Peed Road, East Lyon Station Road, Laundry Avenue, and Will Suitt Road may see crews and equipment as pipe installation, sewer line work, force main work, and launch pit activities continue.

Construction over the next two weeks will focus on continued pipeline installation across Central Avenue, continued work at the East Lyon Station Road crossing, and excavation of the microtunnel launch pit. Blasting operations remain on hold pending coordination activities.
Motorists should expect ongoing traffic impacts along A Street, Central Avenue, and East Lyon Station Road. The Central Avenue closure is anticipated to remain in place through August 10, with the approved detour directing traffic to I-85 Exit 191 for access to the Town of Butner.
Weekend construction activities are planned near the Newton Manufacturing loading docks to help minimize weekday traffic impacts. No planned utility service interruptions are anticipated during this reporting period.
