Actualizaciones de construcción:
1/4/26, 8:30 p.m.
As SGWASA continues tracking progress on the I-85 Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project, the latest progress meeting reflected continued construction activity across both CP-1 and CP-2.
In CP-1, crews are expected to remain focused on force main installation and utility coordination along East Middleton Drive and West Middleton Drive, with traffic control and driveway coordination continuing to support safe construction access and localized resident movement.
Service impacts are expected to remain limited, and no Haren or JF Wilkerson work is planned for Good Friday, April 3, 2026. In CP-2, the project team reported recent progress on bypass installation, pipe and manhole placement, blasting activity, and microtunnel coordination, while also noting that upcoming work will depend heavily on coordination with Enbridge Gas. Planned efforts include continued utility installation, pipe testing, bypass removal, and additional blasting activity near the receiving pit as the team works to maintain forward momentum.
