SGWASA’s I-85 Sanitary Sewer Improvement Project is scheduled to continue with contractor activity focused on East Middleton Drive, West Middleton Drive, and nearby connecting routes as crews continue force main installation and utility coordination.

During this work, the public may see crews potholing existing utilities, installing 16-inch and 24-inch force main segments, and moving equipment and materials toward East Lyon Station Road. Traffic control measures, including lane closures and flagging operations, may be used as needed along East Middleton Drive, West Middleton Drive, Will Suitt Road, East Lyon Station Road, and Joe Peed Road to support safe construction access and material delivery.

Driveway crossing work is also planned along East Middleton Drive. SGWASA appreciates the public’s patience as this infrastructure improvement work continues.
