Joe Peed Road Utility Work and CP-2 Holiday Weekend Schedule

CP-1 Updates
Haren crews are continuing pipe installation at the Joe Peed site. JFW crews continue laying gravity sewer main along Joe Peed Road as part of ongoing sewer infrastructure improvements. Autry crews are also continuing force main work along West Middleton Drive.

CP-2 work is scheduled to conclude today at noon, and no CP-2 work is scheduled over the holiday weekend. Park Construction crews will continue installing the 36-inch fiberglass reinforced pipe at the launch pit before work concludes for the day. Carolina Drilling is scheduled to conduct one controlled blast today at approximately 10:00 AM. Nearby residents, motorists, and property owners may notice temporary noise or vibration associated with this planned construction activity.

Update 11:00 AM: During today’s controlled blasting activity, a waterline was damaged. SGWASA staff are on site, and Park Construction has the necessary parts available to complete the repair. Crews are actively coordinating the repair work and will work to restore normal conditions as safely and efficiently as possible.
