Butner, NC. November 24, 2020 — Effective Nov. 25, 2020 at 5:00pm, North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper's Executive Order No. 180 requires residents to wear masks when in public.
Until further notice, SGWASA customers are required to wear a mask when conducting in-person business at SGWASA, including such tasks as bill payment, new service applications, etc.

SGWASA is presently functioning in Phase 2 of its Three-Phase Business Transition Plan in coordination with Governor Cooper’s Executive Order #180 which addresses North Carolina’s Stay At Home order and the easing of certain COVID-19 restrictions. SGWASA’s Three-Phased Business Transition Plan will coincide with the Governor’s transition plan. Please continue to watch for announcements on the SGWASA website pertaining to additional modifications and changes to SGWASA's business hours and service changes.

Butner, NC. January 22, 2021 — We like to keep our customers informed about SGWASA meeting or exceeding North Carolina Drinking Water Standards to produce quality drinking water. As such, as a reminder, the SGWASA 2019 Consumer Confidence Report is available to read and review. The Consumer Confidence Report was first made available to SGWASA's utility customers in August 2020. The report is a snapshot of last year’s water quality. Included in the Consumer Confidence Report are details about SGWASA’s source of water, what it contains, and how it compares to standards set by regulatory agencies.
Our constant goal is to provide you with a safe and dependable supply of drinking water. We want you to understand the efforts we make to continually improve the water treatment process and protect our water resources.
